  8. Properly affix and secure door, caulk where needed, paint to match.

Certain alignments can be relatively rapid and take 10-15 minutes; however, more severe damage may require door replacement and take a full-day including demolition, clean-up, sealing, installation, adjustment, and finishing.

Spring and fall are great times to repair exterior doors, especially if painting/refinishing will be involved. Interior doors are less sensitive due to the availability of air conditioning and can be done typically year-round.
