Duties and Responsibilities

• As an experienced handyman in the State of Texas you will deliver general maintenance, repair, replacement, and/or installation services in our shop or at customers’ locations. Services include carpentry, drywall repairs, door/window installation and repairs, cabinetry maintenance and repair, remodeling services.
• Provide technical and commercial recommendations to customers on their home and business needs.
• Perform light plumbing, light electrical, and light HVAC repairs and renovations.
• Assemble, install, or remove equipment, furniture, components and other items in homes and businesses.
• Be available for rotating on-call duty.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience servicing and/or installing residential and light commercial equipment, appliances, and electric/plumbing/HVAC fixtures.
• Ability to respond to customer service calls and work independently.
• Be professional and have strong work ethics.
• Operate following the highest safety standards, protocols, using and enforcing utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Comply with general rules, programs, and procedures of the company.
• Have good people and communication skills, and the desire and commitment to make them exceptional.
• Eagerness to learn, no matter your experience level.
• Be legally authorized to work in the US.
• Be fluent in English.
• Have a clean and valid Texas driver’s license.
• Pass background, health check and drug test.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in extreme heat and in tight places.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, occasionally 75 pounds

Education, Certifications and Licenses

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Trade school diploma a plus.
• Licenses or certifications are a plus.
